One of the ways Navy Federal is encouraging participation in Military Appreciation Month is through acts of service dedicated to servicemembers and military families who have shown exceptional commitment. The submission deadline is May 31, with winners to be announced by June 17.
An example of such dedication is seen in the story of employee Natasha J., who assisted a lost Veteran member in the early stages of dementia and went the extra mile by sending him a set of dog tags and a silver ID bracelet.
In addition to these individual acts of kindness, Navy Federal is also contributing over $100,000 to Operation Gratitude, a partner organization that provides volunteer opportunities within the military community. Employees of Navy Federal will be volunteering to create paracord lanyards and cards, which will be distributed by Operation Gratitude to servicemembers worldwide.
