Brigadier General Omuso George named Chief Operating Officer at AMBA

The Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) has announced the appointment of Brigadier General Omuso D. George, USA (Ret.), as its new Chief Operating Officer. General George's career spans over three decades in leadership and finance, including thirty years as an Army finance officer and two years in the private sector.

Major General (Ret.) Steven J. Lepper, President and CEO of AMBA, highlighted General George's extensive experience in both public and private sectors. "The Association of Military Banks of America is pleased to welcome General George," said General Lepper. "His distinguished public and private service, including many years as an Army leader, brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a new perspective to the AMBA leadership team."

General Lepper further noted that General George's background would be invaluable for AMBA's mission. "His deep experience in finance and military leadership will serve AMBA well as we continue to work with our military banks and our public and private sector partners to improve the financial wellbeing of our nation’s military and veteran communities," he added.
