Washington, D.C. (June 3, 2024) — Independent Banker magazine, the monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), has announced its sixth annual list of 40 Under 40: Community Bank Leaders. The award acknowledges community bank innovators, contributors, and influencers who are advancing local communities through community banking excellence.

"ICBA is thrilled to celebrate this year's honorees, who exemplify the ideals of community banking and represent the future of our industry," ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey stated. "These individuals are not only dedicated to their customers and communities, but they also bring innovative ideas and a passion for service that will drive the industry forward. We are proud to recognize their achievements and look forward to their continued impact and success."

The June issue of Independent Banker features a story on how the 40 Under 40 honorees have navigated challenging market conditions by leveraging local expertise and sound business practices to enhance customer experience and foster economic resilience within their communities.

Candidates were evaluated based on character, leadership, community involvement, and innovation. The winners are categorized into hi-tech heroes, enthusiastic collaborators, thoughtful educators, community supporters, innovative strategists, and trusted advisors.
