The American Fintech Council (AFC), a leading industry association representing responsible fintech companies and innovative banks, announced that LatinoProsperity has joined its Community Advisory Board (CAB). LatinoProsperity is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equitable economic policies for the Latinx community.

The organization aims for a thriving US economy where Latinos build intergenerational wealth. It is driven by the voices and experiences of Latinx community members, academics, and leaders from various sectors.

The AFC established its Community Advisory Board comprising consumer advocacy groups, CDFIs (Community Development Financial Institutions), and academic organizations to guide the fintech industry toward responsible innovation benefiting underserved communities. Recently joining this board was the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program along with founding members such as Woodstock Institute, Capital Good Fund, and Accion Opportunity Fund.
The collaboration between AFC and LatinoProsperity aims to create numerous opportunities for both organizations to share knowledge and resources.
