New York small businesses featured at Bryant Park's winter village

Bank of America has announced the four small businesses from New York City that will participate in this year's Small Business Spotlight program at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park. These businesses will have rent-free booths to display and sell their products for over two weeks each. This initiative offers entrepreneurs the chance to reach new customers at one of New York City's prime winter shopping destinations, with shop rental fees covered by Bank of America.

José Tavarez, president of Bank of America New York City, emphasized the importance of supporting local entrepreneurs: "Entrepreneurs and small businesses help drive New York City’s economy and are the backbone of our local communities." He added that the program helps participants connect with new customers without incurring additional expenses.

The selected businesses include What a Cutie from Brooklyn, which creates pet accessories; Doosra from Queens, offering Indian snack mixes; Manhattan-based eat2explore, providing cooking kits for cultural education; and Paige’s Candle Co. from Brooklyn, known for handmade soy candles.

In addition to these businesses, the Bank of America Marketplace by Seneca Women booth returns to feature five women-owned enterprises from the U.S. and Mexico. Last year’s holiday shops generated approximately $40 million in sales during the season.

The Small Business Spotlight dates coincide with the Holiday Shops calendar from October 25, 2024, through January 5, 2025. Booths are located near Bryant Park's fountain and skating rink.

Bank of America is a leading financial institution serving millions worldwide with a range of services. The Winter Village at Bryant Park offers various activities including ice skating and shopping opportunities throughout its season ending March 2, 2025.
