JetBlue announced that its JetBlue Plus Card, issued by Barclays, has received the J.D. Power Award for ranking highest among co-branded airline credit cards. This recognition comes from the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Credit Card Satisfaction Study, which surveyed over 30,000 credit card customers across the United States.
The study assessed customer satisfaction in seven areas: account management, benefits, customer service, new account setup, rewards earning and redeeming, and terms. The JetBlue Plus Card scored highest in three of these factors: Rewards Earning, Rewards Redeeming, and Benefits.
Christopher Buckner, vice president of loyalty and partnerships at JetBlue stated: “As JetBlue remains committed to delivering innovative programs, rewards and benefits for all customers, we’re proud that our cardmembers recognize the increased value we have built into our suite of JetBlue credit cards and the newly refreshed TrueBlue loyalty program.” He added that this honor from J.D. Power reflects their mission to prioritize customer-centric products and services.
Doug Villone from Barclays US Consumer Bank commented on the achievement: “This recognition from J.D. Power demonstrates that the JetBlue Plus Card is delivering value, benefits and enhanced experiences to our cardmembers.” He highlighted Barclays' partnership with well-loved American brands to offer loyalty-building products.
Earlier this year saw the launch of JetBlue's new TrueBlue® loyalty program offering more opportunities for earning points and perks. For over seven years now, Barclays has been partnering with JetBlue to issue the card which offers various benefits including bonus points after qualifying activities and points on eligible purchases with JetBlue as well as restaurants and grocery stores.
