Student housing plans advance in Birmingham and Manchester

Plans have been submitted for three additional student accommodation towers, adding to the developments in Birmingham and Manchester. The proposed projects include a 1,200-room scheme in Birmingham and a 580-bed scheme in Manchester.

Neil Roper, Regional Director, remarked on the ongoing expansion of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) in these university cities: “The growth of the PBSA offering in these 2 great University Cities continues to underline the necessity to make the student experience a ‘wow’ factor… and this fundamentally starts with the attractiveness of the accommodation on offer, which in turn compliments the key drivers of the modern day student.”
