Assetz Capital and Aros Kapital have announced an expansion of their partnership in the UK lending market. The collaboration is expected to see Assetz Capital deploy over £200 million of Aros Kapital’s funding across various sectors in 2024, contributing to their overall lending volumes.
The two companies have worked together since 2020, supporting a range of sectors including UK SME housebuilders, care sector developers and operators, and other SME trading businesses. To date, Assetz Capital has lent more than £400 million through Aros Kapital into UK construction projects as well as commercial mortgages and bridging loans.
With ambitious plans for 2024, the continued partnership aims to increase the current £200 million figure. Both lenders plan to ramp up activity in the coming years. Since its inception in 2013, Assetz Capital has provided over £1.7 billion in funding to UK construction and other trading businesses. Its development funding supports one out of every twelve new homes built by SME housebuilders in recent years.
Over the next three years, Assetz Capital plans to surpass the milestone of £2 billion in funding. With this extension with Aros Kapital, it now maintains active funding partnerships with five key organizations, ensuring deep funding lines for business growth.
Assetz Capital will continue delivering its core loan products around residential development, refurbishment, development exit strategies, commercial mortgages, bridging loans, and commercial-to-residential development schemes. These offerings cover sector specialisms like residential development and conversion schemes, care facilities, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), and commercial property investment.
Stuart Law, CEO and co-founder of Assetz Capital said: “We’re proud to continue our successful collaboration with Aros Kapital... For more than a decade...offering fast and flexible solutions that cater to the diverse needs of our borrowers.”
