American Fintech Council partners with FTI Consulting to boost innovation

The American Fintech Council (AFC) has announced a new strategic partnership with FTI Consulting, a prominent business advisory firm. This collaboration aims to promote responsible innovation within the financial services sector and advocate for regulatory modernization. The partnership will also focus on creating educational resources for the fintech ecosystem.

Phil Goldfeder, CEO of AFC, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "Every year, FTI Consulting is lauded as one of the best consulting firms in the country, providing crucial advice and strategic counsel to more than half of the world’s 50 largest banks and 100 largest private equity firms." He further emphasized that FTI's expertise would advance their shared vision for a transparent and inclusive financial system.

FTI Consulting is recognized globally for its comprehensive suite of services that assist clients throughout various stages of business challenges. Stella Mendes, Leader of the Financial Services practice at FTI Consulting, commented on the partnership: "Given our work with clients across the financial services spectrum, it was natural for FTI Consulting to partner with one of the fintech industry’s leading trade groups."

In conjunction with White and Case, AFC and FTI will host a cocktail reception at Money 20/20 in Las Vegas. This event aims to celebrate their partnership and provide networking opportunities for stakeholders.

The AFC is known as a standards-based organization representing major fintech companies and innovative BaaS banks. Its mission includes fostering competition in consumer finance while supporting responsible innovation and sound public policy.
