American Fintech Council announces Affinity as new member

The American Fintech Council (AFC) has announced the inclusion of Affinity as its latest member. Affinity is recognized for its compliance training platform, specifically designed for financial services, including fintech companies and banks.

Phil Goldfeder, CEO of AFC, highlighted the growing need for efficient compliance solutions due to rapid innovation in fintech and banking. "As the bridge between these organizations and regulators, AFC recognizes the importance of ensuring full compliance without stifling responsible innovation," he stated. He also expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Affinity to help meet regulatory requirements while promoting a transparent and customer-centric industry.

Affinity aims to revolutionize compliance programs by offering free access to bank sponsors for standardizing training across their fintech portfolios. The platform integrates with tools like Slack and provides workflow management, customizable content, and data reporting capabilities to streamline compliance processes.

Faraz Rana, CEO and founder of Affinity, commented on the perception of compliance training: “Compliance training is often seen as a burden, but it doesn’t have to be.” He emphasized that their partnership with AFC supports transforming how the fintech industry approaches compliance.

The AFC serves as a trade association representing major financial technology companies and innovative banks. Its mission is to promote transparency and inclusivity in finance by supporting responsible innovation.
