Navy Federal hosts its annual charity run benefiting Dog Tag

Fitness enthusiasts, families, and individuals of all ages are invited to participate in the 30th annual Navy Federal Credit Union 5K Run/Walk/Roll. The event will take place in Vienna, Virginia, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. As in previous years, Navy Federal will offer a free 'Sammie Sprint' for children under five years old starting at 10 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Dog Tag, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping active military service members and their families transition to civilian life. Dog Tag provides a five-month fellowship program that equips veterans, military spouses, and caregivers with tools and education to build resilience and find renewed purpose beyond the military.

Registration is required for the Navy Federal Annual 5K, which will proceed regardless of weather conditions. Participants will receive a race T-shirt while supplies last and are encouraged to stay for refreshments and an awards ceremony after the race.

The start and finish line is located at 820 Follin Lane in Vienna. For more information or to register for the event, visit the registration page.
