The Bank Policy Institute (BPI) has announced the promotion of four staff members, acknowledging their exceptional performance. BPI President and CEO Greg Baer stated, "These promotions are a testament to the depth of talent we have at BPI, and I have no doubt these talented individuals will serve our members tirelessly in their new roles." John Court, currently serving as BPI’s General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer, will now also direct coordination across all BPI functions to ensure alignment with strategies set by the CEO and Board.
Sam Riley is being promoted to Senior Vice President and Head of International Regulatory Policy. In this role, he will lead BPI's engagement on global regulatory issues.
Austin Anton will step into the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Communications. He replaces Sean Oblack, who is leaving after a decade for a new opportunity.
Will Bonner is being promoted to Assistant Vice President, Communications. His focus will be on social media and digital communications.
The Bank Policy Institute represents universal banks, regional banks, and major foreign banks operating in the United States. It conducts research on regulatory topics and advocates for financial services regarding cybersecurity and other security issues.
