ICBA announces board nominees ahead of March vote

The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) has announced its nominees for the 2025-26 board of directors. The nominations are set to be voted on by the current board during ICBA LIVE 2025, which will take place from March 11-14 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Rebeca Romero Rainey, ICBA President and CEO, commented on the nominations: “Our 2024-25 nominees represent the strength and diversity of community banking, bringing decades of leadership and an unwavering commitment to our industry. These leaders exemplify the mission and values of ICBA, and their service will help us champion the policies and innovations that empower community banks and their customers nationwide.”

The list of nominees includes Jack E. Hopkins as Chairman; Alice P. Frazier as Chairman-elect; Michael J. Burke Jr. as Vice Chairman; Rebeca Romero Rainey as ICBA President and CEO; Douglas E. Parrott as Secretary; Quentin Leighty as Treasurer; Lucas White as Immediate Past Chairman; Derek B. Williams, Brad M. Bolton, Robert M. Fisher, Noah W. Wilcox as Past Chairmen.

Other positions include Brenda K. Foster and John V. Evans III as At-large Directors and Federal Delegate Board Representatives; James H. Sills III and Gay Dempsey also serving as At-large Directors.

Committee chairpersons nominated are Anita Drentlaw for Bank Education Committee, Christopher C. Doyle for Bank Innovations & Solutions Committee, Sarah Getzlaff for Bank Operations Committee, Reid B. Tingle for ICBA PAC Chairman, Jim S. Gowen Jr., for Rural America and Agriculture Committee, Verlin “Gus” J. Barker for Policy Development Committee.
