Navy Federal Credit Union has announced the establishment of a new Military Affairs and Strategic Partnerships unit. This initiative, effective as of May 1, 2025, aims to enhance support for military personnel, veterans, and their families. The unit will be led by Retired US Navy Capt. Keith Hoskins.
"Navy Federal is dedicated to the financial wellbeing of our 14 million members across the globe," stated President and CEO Dietrich Kuhlmann. "We also have a duty to serve America’s broader military community. As we seek to expand our impact in this area, our new Military Affairs and Strategic Partnerships team will allow us to enhance our programs and better leverage relationships with partners who share our values."
The new unit consolidates Navy Federal's community engagement and member support initiatives into a cohesive strategy. It focuses on several areas including financial opportunity programs, strategic partnerships for community impact, and government relations.
Hoskins brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Navy Federal's Greater Pensacola Operations campus and Branch Operations team. His military background includes serving as an FA-18 pilot on the Blue Angels flight demonstration team and commanding Naval Air Station Pensacola.
"Having served with dedication in the United States Navy and led teams with a purpose in Branch Operations, I now take the challenge of leading the Military Affairs and Strategic Partnerships business unit," said Hoskins.
Tracy Montgomery will temporarily lead Branch Operations while a full-time replacement is sought.
Navy Federal Credit Union was established in 1933 and serves over 14 million members globally. It operates more than 365 branches worldwide.
