J.P. Morgan has introduced new features on its Self-Directed Investing platform, aimed at enhancing the fixed income experience for retail investors. These updates facilitate easier exploration and investment in corporate bonds, Treasuries, and other fixed income products.
The new features include a yield comparison table, customizable screeners, and a streamlined trade ticket. The yield comparison table allows investors to quickly compare yields across different fixed income products. Customizable screeners enable users to find specific types of bonds that meet their criteria, while the streamlined trade ticket simplifies the trading process with fewer steps.
Paul Vienick, Head of Online Investing at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, stated, "Fixed income investments are a key part of a diversified portfolio, helping to balance stock market volatility and providing consistent income through regular interest payments." He added that the platform is designed to be user-friendly for both desktop and mobile app users.
The enhancements are part of J.P. Morgan's ongoing efforts to improve its Self-Directed Investing platform. In the past year, the firm has also introduced fractional shares for over 3,000 stocks and ETFs and tools for comparing portfolio performance against major indices.
Andrea Finan, Head of J.P. Morgan Self-Directed Investing, expressed enthusiasm about future improvements: "We are thrilled about the future and the continuous improvements we are making to empower our clients."
J.P. Morgan's platform has been recognized as an industry leader by J.D. Power’s Wealth Management Digital Experience Study and StockBrokers.com.
