The American Fintech Council (AFC) has announced that Unit, a leading embedded finance platform, has joined its ranks. Unit provides banks and technology companies with the tools to offer integrated banking, lending, and payment services. This collaboration aims to support customer growth and innovation while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Phil Goldfeder, CEO of the American Fintech Council, remarked on the partnership: “Unit is opening doors for banks and tech companies to offer modern, powerful financial solutions that drive real value for their customers.” He added that Unit's expertise in embedded finance would contribute significantly to AFC’s network of members.
Unit offers a variety of embedded financial solutions including banking, capital, bill pay services, charge cards, instant payouts, white-labeled applications, and an oversight dashboard. These offerings aim to enhance customer retention and unlock new revenue streams for businesses.
Itai Damti, CEO and co-founder of Unit stated: “At Unit, our mission is to make it simple for banks and technology companies to offer high-quality financial services that are deeply embedded into the tools their customers already use.”
In addition to this partnership with Unit, AFC will also collaborate with amBaaSsador. This initiative helps community and regional banks explore embedded finance through education and strategic partnerships. Steve Bishop, President of amBaaSsador said: “This isn’t another fintech cheerleading exercise. This is about giving community banks a fighting chance — with clarity, context, and connections that actually make sense.”
AFC is known as a standards-based organization representing major fintech companies and innovative banks. Its mission focuses on promoting a transparent financial system through responsible innovation.
