The platform enables secure and anonymized sharing of fraud intelligence, supports joint investigations and case management, and offers regulatory reporting capabilities enhanced by AI-driven analytics.
Phil Goldfeder, CEO of the American Fintech Council, stated: “Fraud has become increasingly sophisticated, requiring solutions that can keep pace with rapidly changing tactics. FiVerity’s platform helps financial institutions share intelligence securely, identify emerging risks, and strengthen their defenses against potential threats. We’re pleased to welcome FiVerity as an AFC member as they help our industry advance practical strategies for detecting and preventing fraud.”
The platform is designed for use by banks, credit unions, fintechs, and crypto platforms. It allows these organizations to exchange fraud signals in real time and collaborate on investigations through shared case management tools and automated compliance workflows. The use of AI-driven insights aims to help institutions detect both known and emerging threats within their customer base earlier.
Meghan Sutherland, CEO of FiVerity, commented: “FiVerity transforms the fight against fraud from isolated efforts into a coordinated defense strategy. By streamlining investigations, strengthening regulatory reporting, and surfacing emerging threats earlier through AI-powered insights, we’re empowering the industry to respond proactively, together. Joining the American Fintech Council allows us to work alongside other financial leaders to improve security and operational efficiency across the sector.”
The AFC operates as a standards-based organization representing major fintech companies and innovative banks offering embedded finance solutions. Its mission is to promote a transparent and inclusive financial system focused on responsible innovation in financial services while supporting sound public policy. Members of the AFC aim to increase competition in consumer finance markets and develop products for underserved consumers.
