Bank of America has announced that its fourth annual More Rewards Day will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025. This event allows consumer and business credit cardholders to earn bonus rewards for one day as the holiday season begins. Since More Rewards Day started, Bank of America cardholders are expected to have earned nearly $100 million in extra rewards, with $74 million already distributed during the first three years.
“We’re excited to uphold this annual holiday tradition and share this special offer with our clients,” said Lora Monfared, Head of Consumer Card Products at Bank of America. “More Rewards Day is all about celebrating our cardholders by awarding them bonus cash back, Miles or points as they prepare for the increased festivities and spending that the holiday season brings.”
On November 6, eligible Bank of America credit cardholders using rewards cards will automatically receive additional bonus rewards on their first $2,500 in purchases. The bonuses include an extra 2% cash back, two points per dollar spent, or two miles per dollar spent. New Customized Cash Rewards and Unlimited Cash Rewards credit cardholders who are currently receiving introductory bonuses can combine those with More Rewards Day offers. As a result, new Customized Cash Rewards users may earn up to 8% cash back in their chosen category, while new Unlimited Cash Rewards users could get up to 4% cash back on purchases during the promotion.
Cardholders without a rewards credit card will receive a 2% cash back statement credit applied to their account. Bonus rewards are limited to $50 cash back, 5,000 points or miles, or a $50 statement credit per account or business on qualifying purchases made on November 6.[1]
A recent Bank of America survey found that more than one-third of consumers anticipating financial strain during the holidays plan to use credit card rewards to help offset costs.
All open Bank of America consumer and business credit cards with active charging privileges qualify for More Rewards Day. Cardholders with multiple accounts can earn bonuses separately on each eligible card used for purchases made on November 6.[1]
Preferred Rewards and Preferred Rewards for Business members will continue earning their regular program bonuses but will not receive incremental bonus earnings from More Rewards Day or from first-year new cardholder promotions.
