Bank of America has announced a new partnership with Visa to offer exclusive FIFA World Cup 2026 custom card designs for new applicants of the Customized Cash Rewards and Unlimited Cash Rewards Visa credit cards. The special edition cards will be available starting December 4 and can be selected by new cardholders until July 2026.
As the Official Bank of FIFA World Cup 2026, Bank of America and Visa, the Official Payment provider for the event, will provide two unique card designs from which applicants can choose.
"We are bringing a unique opportunity directly to new Cash Rewards cardholders, helping them be part of this unforgettable global event," said Mary Hines Droesch, Head of Consumer and Small Business Products & Analytics at Bank of America. "This reflects our ongoing commitment to connecting clients with world-class experiences, alongside the exceptional value our Cash Rewards cards deliver to stretch their dollars further."
In addition to the custom card design, Bank of America is also offering an exclusive chance for clients who open a new Cash Rewards Visa credit card to purchase up to two tickets for select FIFA World Cup 2026 matches. This offer is available while supplies last.
Consumers who apply for a new Customized Cash Rewards or Unlimited Cash Rewards Visa credit card between December 4, 2025 and January 5, 2026, and have their account opened by February 5, 2026, will be eligible for this ticket purchasing opportunity. Eligible cardholders will receive an email on February 10, 2026 containing a unique link to access the FIFA ticket portal. The link will also be accessible through Bank of America's online banking platforms. The ticket sales window opens at noon ET on February 10 and runs until tickets sell out or through February 24, whichever comes first.
To complete the purchase during this period, eligible customers must create a FIFA ID if they do not already have one. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum limit of two per qualifying cardholder.
The announcement comes ahead of the FIFA World Cup final draw on December 5 as part of Bank of America's efforts to increase value for its new credit card customers. For those opening a Customized Cash Rewards Visa during their first year, they can earn up to six percent cash back in their chosen category (with a three percent bonus), while Unlimited Cash Rewards Visa holders can earn two percent cash back (with a half-percent bonus) on all purchases within that period. New Cash Rewards customers may also qualify for a $200 welcome bonus after spending $1,000 or more in purchases within the first three months after opening their account.
