AFSA has initiated a fundraising campaign to aid recovery efforts in southeastern U.S. communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The organization is conducting a virtual raffle, offering one fully paid registration for the 2025 AFSA conference of the winner's choice. Options include the Vehicle or Independents Conference & Expos in New Orleans or Huntington Beach, CA, respectively, or the Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
All proceeds from this initiative will be donated to the American Red Cross. The Red Cross currently has teams deployed across all states involved in recovery operations following the hurricanes and their aftermath.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase online. The winner will be announced at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Phoenix on October 23 during the Level Up Breakfast. AFSA expressed gratitude to those already participating in relief efforts and encouraged further support for their initiative.
