Capital One is set to participate in Miami Art Week this December, offering events that merge visual and culinary arts. These experiences will be accessible through Capital One Dining, providing both cardholders and the public with a chance to engage with art and food.
The program will feature collaborations with The Cultivist, artist Alex Israel, and chefs José Andrés and Dominique Crenn. Monica Weaver, Head of Branded Card Partnerships and Experiences at Capital One, stated: “With the help of incredible partners in the visual and culinary arts, we are creating an interactive, art-saturated experience where art informs food and, in turn, the food further influences the art to ultimately push the boundaries of a fine dining experience.”
A highlight of the event is Alex Israel's Snow Beach Frozen Treats pop-up shop. Inspired by his childhood memories of his family's Los Angeles frozen yogurt shop, Israel aims to recreate '80s nostalgia. Public access begins on December 8, but Capital One cardholders can enjoy VIP access.
Israel expressed excitement about collaborating with chefs Andrés and Crenn: “It’s thrilling to work with world-renowned chefs...to activate these memories not only through visual elements but also through the sense of taste.”
Chefs Andrés and Crenn will offer exclusive multi-course dinners for cardholders on December 6 and 7. These meals will include unique frozen yogurt desserts linked to Israel's installation.
The events aim to transport attendees through a blend of provocative food experiences and cinematic visuals. Additionally, cardholders can attend Sunset Social featuring Mark Ronson and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
All activities are scheduled at 1111 Lincoln Road in Miami. Tickets are available from October 24 via Capital One Dining.
Capital One Dining provides rewards cardholders access to exclusive dining experiences across more than 450 restaurants in 16 cities.
