The Association of Military Banks of America (AMBA) is continuing the legacy of Raleigh A. "Andy" Trovillion through the annual Andy Trovillion Scholarship. This scholarship acknowledges Andy's significant contributions to military banking and education, honoring his career as a former faculty member at the Graduate School of Banking (GSB) and AMBA board chairman.
The scholarship aims to support individuals connected to the military who have an interest in the banking sector. Eligible applicants include active duty, Reserve, or National Guard members of the U.S. Armed Services, as well as military spouses and spouses of veterans.
Recipients will receive $1,500 per session, totaling $4,500 for tuition over three GSB resident sessions. This financial assistance highlights AMBA’s dedication to developing military-affiliated professionals within the banking industry.
The eligibility criteria encourage applications from active duty, Reserve, and National Guard members along with military spouses and spouses of veterans. The application deadline for this scholarship is March 1, 2025.
Additionally, the Graduate School of Banking offers nearly $175,000 in scholarships annually through various programs and partnerships with associations. These scholarships aim to help bankers further their education and careers in the industry.
