AFSA responds to New Orleans attack with assurances on conference safety

AFSA has expressed its condolences to those affected by the recent attack in New Orleans during the city's New Year's Day celebrations. The organization extended its thoughts to member companies, business partners, and customers residing in the area.

The American Financial Services Association (AFSA) emphasized that the safety of members and guests attending their conferences is a top priority. They have been in contact with their host hotel, the Roosevelt, which has assured them of security measures for the upcoming AFSA Vehicle Finance Conference & Expo later this month.

In response to the attack, the Louisiana Governor's Office has heightened security procedures for several weeks leading up to the 2025 Super Bowl. This event will follow AFSA's and the National Automobile Dealers Association’s meetings in New Orleans. AFSA stated they would continue monitoring the situation and provide updates as necessary.
