SoFi expands premium membership with over $1K in annual value

SoFi Technologies, Inc. has announced an expansion of its SoFi Plus premium membership benefits, now offering members over $1,000 in annual value. The company aims to provide a comprehensive financial membership through exclusive access to preferred pricing on products and services, complimentary financial planning, rewards, and special events. Members can access SoFi Plus for $10 a month or at no cost with direct deposit.

To mark the launch of these new benefits, SoFi has introduced the 'Power of Plus' sweepstakes. Both new and existing members have the opportunity to win one of six financial ambitions identified as top priorities by Americans.

The expanded benefits include unlimited 1% Invest rewards match for recurring deposits, unlimited 1:1 financial planning sessions valued at $250 each, a $1K discount on home loan closings, exclusive rates on student loan refinancing, 3% cash back on hotel bookings through SoFi Travel powered by Expedia, and access to VIP events at venues like SoFi Stadium.

Existing benefits continue with preferred IPO allocations for brokerage account holders and enhanced savings offers such as earning 3.80% APY on savings balances and boosted credit card cash back rewards.

The 'Power of Plus' sweepstakes offers six prizes aligned with popular financial goals: purchasing a home ($400,000), paying down student debt ($70,000), early retirement funding ($35,000), dream vacation financing ($35,000), wedding expenses ($35,000), and attending a major sporting event ($25,000).

Participants can enter by signing up for SoFi Plus or referring others. The sweepstakes runs until May 14th.
