The American Financial Services Association (AFSA) will host a webinar titled "Silos to Solutions – Building F&I Product Data Integrity in Auto Finance" on October 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. EST. The event aims to address challenges faced by lenders due to disconnected data systems in the finance and insurance (F&I) product sector.
According to AFSA, fragmented data systems can slow down servicing processes, complicate cancellations, and increase the risk of consumer complaints. These issues not only raise administrative costs but also expose businesses to legal and compliance risks.
The webinar will feature Stephen McDaniel, CEO of F&I Sentinel; Samantha Miller, Group Manager at Toyota Financial Services; and Matthew Brink, Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo. They will discuss the main causes of data disconnects and offer strategies for lenders to improve data integrity.
Discussion topics include identifying gaps in the F&I product lifecycle that affect lender operations and dealer relationships. The speakers will also cover how technologies such as dealer management systems (DMS), application programming interfaces (APIs), and integration platforms can help achieve more consistent and transparent data management.
Another focus of the session is how better data integrity can lead to improved disclosure accuracy, reduced compliance risk, and increased consumer trust in auto financing. The event is designed to give lenders practical insights into reducing operational friction, enhancing data governance, and using information management as a business advantage.
Registration for the webinar is open through AFSA’s website.
